Frequently Asked Questions

We do not accept any Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) or motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases.

A “mobile clinic” is a clinic that comes to your door. Our team visits our patients in the spaces they feel most comfortable. This may be their home, office, or a recreational space, or more. We simply need space for our treatment bed/table which is typically in a living room area. We have even worked at a race track!

During your initial assessment, a physiotherapist will discuss with you if physiotherapy treatment is appropriate or if further testing is required. At this point you will be informed of the best course of action and if necessary, arrange an onward referral.

No, you do not need a referral from your doctor to see a physiotherapist. However, some extended health benefits require a doctor’s referral to reimburse you for your claim.

Yes, our physiotherapists are all registered and will provide receipts that are accepted by most insurance companies. For example, most federal public servant plans provided by Canada Life, Sun Life, Great-West Life, etc. are covered. We also accept Blue Cross (RCMP, DVA, etc.).

You will be required to provide payment at the conclusion of each of your sessions and a receipt will be issued. You will need to send the original receipts to your insurance company to be reimbursed.

Your initial assessment is typically a 45-60 minute consultation involving both assessment and treatment. During the appointment, can you expect to:
• Have the full history of your condition/injury documented as well as record your medical history.
• Have a physical examination performed for the area involved.

Following your assessment, an explanation of the findings will be given. Your treatment options as well as a treatment plan will then be discussed with you.

We currently have a 2-3 month wait list.

Please wear something comfortable, like workout clothes. If you come to your appointment directly from work, please bring some clothes to change into when you get to your appointment. Before you decide on what to wear, it’s important to consider what part of the body you are having treated. Your therapist will need to have access to the body part in question. Shorts are suitable for back and leg injuries, sleeveless tops for arm injuries.

We accept credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and E-transfers.
